What’s the wake-up mode?
As a transmitter, it will transmit a long preamble code to wake up receiver before transmitting data. As a receiver, it will wake up periodically to listen the preamble code. It works like heart beat.
What´s the benefit about that? When user set the period as 1s, the receiver wake up only 5ms to listen the preamble code. If there is no preamble code, it will go to sleep. In polling mode, it will greatly decease the power consumption. In 1s period, the average RX power consumption is 1.5uA+4mA*0.005=21.5 uA. It is very very suitable for the battery supply device.
